Nowadays its hard to say that you have been with an artist from the very beginning. So many artist exist, its hard to have that actual co-sign. In the case of Big Sean, I remember what I was doing when I first heard his mixtapes and not to many people in my area were on to the Detroit native. My nephew/artist Sage Lee shared his music with me and I was a fan since. Fast forward about 3 Years and now this kid is jumping on all the blogs ,touring all the colleges, collaborating with Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West and making a name for himself along the way. This day in time its all about having a buzz before you get signed. I saw the Def Jam affiliation tag on Big Sean foray before they actually gave him that mainstream stamp.
