@SlimK4 Presents: @KiloKish – Home School EP (Chopped & Screwed) Babylon Album Review

My homie from the A$AP MOB (A$AP JSCOTT) would always talk about this cute young lady named Kilo Kish on twitter. During my occasional fights with twitter boredom I clicked on her profile and found out she was an artist. The artwork for her original project “Homeschool EP” automatically drew me in. It reminded not only of something that I would do visually, but I just knew the music had to be good if Justin was working with her. After downloading the EP I was immediately drawn in by her sing-songy rap melodies. You can’t really say Kish is a singer, I believe that she is a rapper. I believe that Kish is a rapper even more than most people who claim to be rappers. She has the melodic off-key, innocence to her. She doesn’t try to hard with her delivery and that is what makes the Goddess believable. Kilo Kish can be looked at as the future of Rap Music, her experimental sound is light-years ahead of what people are doing right now. but With the recent rift in rap music and her A$AP & OFWGKTA co-sign she has all the tools to become an icon.

Slim K did nothing but just add to the hype. This EP was made to be Chopped & Screwed literally, the breaks , slowdowns and chops added another melodic dimension to an already groundbreaking album. Ground Breaking? Yes Ground Breaking!! Nothing like this has ever been done before, and if your ears are up for an exciting new sound than look no further than Kilo Kish.
